TLV1 — Poet Nidaa Khoury was born in 1959 in the Christian Arab village of Fassuta, on the north-western slope of Mount Meron in Israel’s Upper Galilee region. She still lives there today.
A senior lecturer in the BGU’s Department of Hebrew Literature, Khoury has had seven collections of poetry published in Israel, Lebanon and Egypt. Her poetry is also widely reviewed in the Arab world.
