The Berkshire Edge — Temple Anshe Amunim in Pittsfield, Massachusetts announced its community film series, including “Who Are the Marcuses?”

“Who Are the Marcuses?” tells the incredible philanthropic story of Holocaust refugees Lottie and Howard Marcus. Together they donated half a billion dollars to Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) to study water management.

Through its community film series, Temple Anshe Amunim aims to explore the Jewish experience and international cinema at once. Each screening includes a post-film discussion about issues raised by the film.

Join A4BGU and Temple Anshe Amunim on Sunday, February 25, at 2 p.m. for the exclusive screening of “Who Are the Marcuses?” followed by a talkback to learn more about the film and its impact on BGU and the State of Israel.
