Join us for a discussion with Dr. Alexandra Klein Rafaeli, director of BGU’s Sylvia A. Brodsky psychological walk-in service, who will share methods for gradually building back our authentic and valuable interpersonal worlds in the aftermath of loneliness and isolation brought on by the pandemic. Dr. Rafaeli will speak to the importance of making meaningful connections during times of uncertainty, as well as the fundamentals that go into making short term interventions powerful in the long term.

Dr. Alexandra Klein Rafaeli is the director of the Sylvia A. Brodsky Psychological Services Division at Ben-Gurion University (BGU), as well as an adjunct supervisor in the psychology department. Dr. Rafaeli has worked across both educational and clinical disciplines, mainly focusing on development and dissemination of Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), an evidence-based approach that integrates psychodynamic theory and solution focused techniques.
