CTech – The Israel Innovation Authority, the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry, and the National Cyber Directorate announced they have launched a NIS 90 million (about $24.4 million) program to advance Israel’s cyber security over the next three years.

The program consists of three parts, which include the allocation of resources to CyberSpark, a one-of-a-kind public-private partnership that acts as the central coordinating body for cyber industry activities in Beer-Sheva.

CyberSpark was founded by Ben-Gurion University, in collaboration with the Israeli National Cyber Bureau in the Prime Minister’s Office, the Beer-Sheva municipality, the Israel Defense Forces, and global companies.

The only complex of its type in the world, it is comprised of a government-academic-industry partnership that includes Fortune 500 companies and cyber-incubators, academic researchers and educational facilities, as well as national government and security agencies.
