About Barry Kayne, D.D.S., Americans for Ben-Gurion University Delaware Chapter Chair
As a past president of the Jewish Federation of Delaware and former chairman of Hillel at the University of Delaware, Barry Kayne’s extraordinary leadership experience will strengthen Delaware’s Jewish community as the inaugural chair of Americans for Ben-Gurion University’s newest chapter. Barry’s volunteer activities also include AIPAC and the Jewish National Fund, as well as several professional organizations.
Upon completing service in the United States Navy, Barry practiced general dentistry in Yokosuka, Japan, from 1969 to 1971, where he met his wife, Reiko. Returning to the U.S., he embarked upon orthodontic and periodontal studies, then taught full-time at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry before starting his practice in Delaware in 1981.
