Noa Dekel, Chairperson of the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev Student Union, was recently interviewed by Knesset TV about ways BGU students are stepping up to support the Beer-Sheva community that was greatly affected by Iran’s recent missile attack on Israel.
Even under perpetual stress, they continue to volunteer, cleaning shelters, helping needy families, and returning for reserve duty by the thousands, all while grappling with academic uncertainty.
