Before convening for the 54th Board of Governor’s Meeting, visit BGU’s inspiring campus near the Red Sea to learn its essential role in fulfilling the University’s mission and the part it has played in supporting the region following October 7. The BGU Eilat campus became a sanctuary for hundreds, quickly springing into action to support displaced families in the Negev, converting dorms into temporary housing, college classrooms into elementary schools, providing meals to those in need, and much more.
Who: For supporters of Ben-Gurion University inspired to visit Israel during this difficult time and make a meaningful, long-lasting impact on the university, the region, and our people.
When: The trip will be three full and two half days on the ground in the Negev, beginning Wednesday, May 15 through Sunday morning, May 19, when the group transfers to the Kedma Resort in Sde Boker.
Where: The Royal Beach Hotel in Eilat and surrounding area.
What: An exploration of Ben-Gurion University’s intimate satellite campus in Eilat where graduates are advancing Israel’s southernmost city – and the world
