*Prof. Nadav Davidovitch, M.D., Ph.D., M.P.H., is director of the School of Public Health at
Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Chair, Health Policy Program, Taub Center for Social Policy
Studies and advisor to the Israeli government on pandemic policy. He represents Israel as the
European Chair, Israeli Public Health Forum and is chair of the Israeli Association of Public
Health Physicians. Prof. Davidovitch’s research focuses on various aspects of health policy,
combining his multidisciplinary training as an epidemiologist and public health physician with
his research expertise in the sociology of health and public health ethics.
