Prof. Dorit Nitzan, MD, MPH, RD (bio)
Head, School of Public Health
Director, Master’s Program in Emergency Medicine
Chair, Food Systems, One Health and Resilience
Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU)
Prof. Nitzan currently works with NGOs, local governments, ministries, and UNICEF by applying research and developing solutions for the wide-reaching impacts of the ongoing conflict.
Noa Shuker (bio)
Born and raised in Beer-Sheva, Noa is a third-year medical student at BGU.
With over 250 days served in Milium (IDF Reserves) in the last year, she has been a central contact to the families of wounded soldiers in both Soroka and Barzilai Hospitals.
In a post-October 7th reality, BGU is the anchor institution and engine for growth in the Negev. Join us to discover how now more than ever, BGU represents the way forward.
