Prof. Ron Folman is the founder and director of the BGU Center for Quantum Science and Technology, bringing together over 50 researchers from more than 10 departments to engage in quantum-based research and development. He also heads BGU’s Atom Chip Laboratory, where he learns how to “communicate” with atoms in order to develop cutting-edge quantum technologies, including ultra-precision atomic clocks and navigation systems, to quantum communication and computing.
