Prof. Yoav Sharoni is visiting the U.S. on a short-term basis, representing the Department of Clinical Biochemistry and Pharmacology, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. The Department is responsible for teaching biochemistry, clinical biochemistry, metabolic regulation, obesity, diabetes and insulin resistance, clinical endocrinology, hematology, cytokines during inflammation and lipid metabolism to medical, laboratory sciences, nursing, and life science students.

Peter I. Lelkes, Ph.D., is the Laura H. Carnell Professor and Founding Chair of the Department of Bioengineering in the College of Engineering at Temple University. Dr. Lelkes is also the inaugural director of the Institute for Regenerative Medicine and Engineering (TIME) at Temple University’s School of Medicine.  Temple University’s Bioengineering Department offers students access to the merging worlds of engineering and biological sciences.
